An art assignment of mine. My first time ever trying out scratch art! It was quite time consuming, but very fun to do. If you don't know what scratch art is, it's basically using a board covered in india ink, and you scratch away lines with a tool to get the desired effect. So, no drawing, and definetely no erasing, lol. I used an image for the outline, but I made up the details, background, etc.
It's a dragon and behind him is the Yin Yang symbol

Same here! That's one reason why I love traditional art so much more than digital. You can actually feel the materials in your hands <3. Well with scratch art your hands just get some dust, lol.
