I finally got around to doing something which i've been wanting to do for a very long time now. That is, not fully copy down a reference picture yet still be making a fanart of someone! Lol.


So here I made Emilie Autumn. I really love some of her songs. The way she adds different instruments is really awesome!


Anyways, I experimented with this, to start trying to find my own style, and it took me around 3 hours. I used watercolor, watercolor pencil, colored pencil, gel pens, mechanical pencil, and a ballpoint pen. It's about 30-40% made up.

I like the new style. The colours are very pretty. Aww, pinks :iconteaheeplz:

The way you used watercolour is outstanding. My only suggestion is that you should have added a tone to her skin so it doesn't clash with the cloth. The chin is also slightly large.
Besides that, I love this creative style! It's good that you're being more original :)

It's actually what I had in plan, but somehow the colors got a bit washed out on her chin :?. Ah well. I will certainly keep these things in mind next time!
